    Pawvenir, a brand operated by Edens Romance LLC ("Pawvenir," "we," "us," or "our"), operates www.pawvenir.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

    Information we collect

    Information you give us when you order

    • Name, email address, and shipping address
    • Billing address and order details
    • Phone number, if you provide one

    Payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and other payment providers available at checkout. We do not receive or store your full card number. Our payment processors handle card data directly under their own privacy terms and applicable card-industry security standards.

    Photographs and personalization content. Our products are made to order from material you supply. When you place an order you may upload a photograph of your pet and provide personalization details such as a name, dates, or a message. This content is treated as personal information and is covered by this policy. See "How we use your pet photographs" below.

    Information collected automatically. When you visit our site we collect device and usage information through cookies and similar technologies, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring site, and how you interact with the store.

    Communications. If you email us or sign up for marketing, we keep a record of that correspondence and your subscription status.

    How we use your pet photographs

    This is the part of our service most people want to understand, so we state it plainly.

    • Photographs and personalization text you upload are used solely to design and produce your order.
    • To make your item, we share your photograph and personalization details with our production partner and the artisan workshop that crafts it, located in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. See "International transfers" below.
    • We retain order files, including photographs, for 90 days after delivery, so that we can remake a damaged or incorrect item or resolve a dispute. After 90 days they are deleted from our active systems.
    • We do not use your photographs in marketing, on social media, on product listings, or in advertising unless you give us separate, explicit permission. If we ask, you are free to say no and it will not affect your order.
    • We do not sell your photographs, and we do not license them to third parties for any purpose other than producing your order.

    How we use your other information

    • To process, produce, fulfill, and deliver your order
    • To send order confirmations, production updates, shipping notices, and tracking information
    • To provide customer support and handle replacement or return requests
    • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
    • To improve our products, website, and service
    • To send marketing communications, where you have opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time
    • To measure and improve our advertising, as described under "Analytics and advertising"
    • To comply with legal obligations

    Who we share information with

    We share personal information only with parties who need it to run the business:

    • Shopify, which hosts our online store and processes orders
    • Payment processors, which handle your payment
    • Our production partner and artisan workshop, which receive your photograph, personalization details, and shipping address to make and dispatch your order
    • Shipping carriers and our order-tracking provider, which receive your name, address, and contact details to deliver your parcel and provide tracking
    • Analytics and advertising providers, including Google, as described below
    • Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information or need to establish or defend legal claims

    We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share limited online identifiers with advertising partners for targeted advertising, which some US state privacy laws treat as a "sale" or "sharing." You can opt out — see "Your privacy rights."

    International transfers

    Our products are handmade to order. To produce your item, the information needed to make it — your photograph, personalization details, and the shipping address used for dispatch — is transferred to and processed by our production partner in China. Other service providers we use may process information in the United States and elsewhere.

    Privacy laws in these countries may differ from those where you live. We take reasonable steps to require our partners to protect your information and to use it only for the purposes we specify.

    Analytics and advertising

    We use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads to understand how our site is used and to measure and target our advertising. These tools set cookies and may collect your IP address, device identifiers, and browsing activity on our site.

    You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on, and you can manage ad personalization in your Google account settings. You can also manage cookies through your browser.

    If you visit our site with Global Privacy Control enabled, we treat that signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser and device you are using.

    Your privacy rights

    Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

    • Know what personal information we hold about you and request a copy
    • Request correction of inaccurate information
    • Request deletion of your information
    • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising
    • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

    To exercise any of these rights, email support@pawvenir.com from the address associated with your order, or use the opt-out form on our Your Privacy Choices page. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. You may authorize an agent to act for you; we may ask for proof of that authorization.

    Note that we may need to retain certain information to complete an order already in production, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes.

    Data retention

    We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill the order and for the period required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Photographs and personalization files are kept for 90 days after delivery to support remakes and claims, then deleted from active systems.

    Security

    We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and our store runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    Children's privacy

    Our store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email support@pawvenir.com and we will delete it.

    Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
